Crawlspace Door

vdVinyl Crawl Space Doors are a great alternative to a wood door that needs continual maintenance and replacement year after year. Seitz Bros. can manufacture and install a custom door for any size crawl space opening.

The doors are made of Fypon, which is a composite material and is waterproof and resistant to rot. It comes in a white finish that has no need for painting, but can be painted to match your vinyl siding or trim.

It can be weather stripped for absolute weather-tightness in the event of a conditioned crawl space.

Crawlspace Vent Covers

vent-coverAlong with the Seitz Sealer encapsulation system, Seitz Bros. crawlspace vent covers provide a clean and easy way to save money on your energy bills, keep excess moisture out of your crawl space, and create a healthier environment for your family. By encapsulating the crawlspace with the Seitz Sealer system, we can close our crawlspace vents for good.

Seitz Bros. Vent Covers go over the old, corroded, unsightly vents for a nice clean looking finish. These crawlspace vent covers are durable plastic, so they’ll never rust, rot, or need paint. The crawlspace vent covers have a foam insulation and gasket material on the inside to seal off the outside air completely. And they can come in different colors to match your home’s foundation.

Seitz Bros. Freeze Guard

freezeguardSump pump discharge lines can freeze, especially in the northeast. Pipe terminations can become covered with snow and ice in the winter. This is not a problem if you have the Seitz freeze guard.

The Seitz freeze guard allows water to escape from a sump pump discharge line if the pipe freezes or becomes blocked for any reason.

Even if the pipe outlet is buried under a foot of ice and snow, the water can escape, allowing your sump pump to keep your basement dry. When the discharge pipe thaws, the water will automatically run along its normal route, and no water will escape from the Seitz freeze guard. There are no valves to turn, hoses to attach, or anything for the homeowner to do at all – it’s totally automatic!

Seitz Bros. Rain Chute

rainchuteDownspout extensions are an important part of a basement waterproofing program. While downspout extensions will not solve basement water problems by themselves, they will help to keep your basement dry.

Many gallons of rain fall on a roof and it makes sense to keep that water away from the foundation – and your basement.

But how can you extend downspouts without adding ugly pipe extensions that can clog?

The answer is Seitz Bros. Rain Chute, an attractive extension that will never clog.
