We at Seitz Brothers are proud to announce our New Green Pest Control Program. As pest management professionals, we are constantly striving to improve our service by utilizing the latest technology available. As consumer interest for Green services has increased, Seitz Brothers had decided to incorporate a more environmentally conscious program into our service offerings. Seitz Brothers has made the decision to make this program available to all customers both residential and commercial.
Seitz Brothers Green program is based on time-tested scientific procedures. In order for the Green program to be successful, we follow certain criteria to achieve success such as:
- Inspection
- Pest ID
- Consumer Education
- Treatment
- Cultural Control (sanitation, food, water, and harborage reduction)
- Mechanical Control (Traps, monitors, and exclusion- sealing of holes in and around the structure)
- Biological Control (Use of IGR'S - Insect Growth Regulators)
- Use of a "Green Product" (Botanical, organic, or bait)
- Use of a low impact product (as last resort) /li>
- Follow-up (additional treatment when necessary
- Constant evaluation (This is necessary to ensure success)

Green pest control products
- Unique and Patented Mode-of-Action: EcoSMART’s plant oil active ingredients target and block a key neurotransmitter receptor site called octopamine, which is found only in invertebrates (i.e. insects- ants- roaches- pests.)
- Unprecedented Margin-of-Safety: Mammals do not have receptors for octopamine, so EcoSMART’s plant oils used are classified as “Generally Recognized As Safe” (GRAS) and/or are approved for food and beverage consumption by the U.S. FDA.
- Effective Against a Broad Spectrum of Insect Pests: EcoSMART’s products provide quick knockdown and control against a wide variety of indoor and outdoor pests.
- Fragrance Information: Because the active ingredient is comprised of plant essential oils, there may be a “floral/botanical” fragrance associated with some of EcoSMART’s products. This fragrance is not harmful and will dissipate after a short period of time.
